Here’s proof that rock was vital once upon a time, and still can be. Graham Parker and the Rumour is back.
Nobody rocked harder and put out a better string of albums in 1976-1981 than these guys, with the exception
of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Their breakup left no hope of a reunion, except possibly in a
wrestling ring. And now here they are, with all the original members and a great new album, picking up right
where they left off. Am I dreaming?
Great performance. Great seats. Great crowd. Great venue. Great recording. It doesn’t get better than this.

Oran Mor, Glasgow 26 de Abril. Un concierto de su gira acústica por Europa para ir anticipando sus conciertos aquí la semana que viene
En unos días tendremos aquí a Mark Lanegan (la entrada para su actuación del Joy Eslava del domingo se me está destrozando en el bolsillo), así que voy a colgar una buena grabación de audiencia de su concierto del pasado día 26 de abril en el Oran Mor de Glasgow para que los que vayan a ir a ver alguno de sus conciertos en nuestro país se vayan ambientando y para que lo disfruten también los que no van a ir a verle.
Puesto que la gira de este año por Europa es completamente acústica el repertorio se apoya fundamentalmente en sus discos “Field Songs” y “I´ll Take Care Of You”. Toda una golosina para los oidos. ¿Quieres saber como están siendo sus conciertos europeos de esta gira? Este CD es una muestra representativa de lo que está ofreciendo “la voz del rock“. Este CD saltó hace un par de días al tracker de dimeadozen y después de hacerle una portada rápida y de etiquetar las canciones convenientemente os lo dejo aquí para que lo disfrutéis vosotros también. Está en formato flac (compresión sin pérdida de calidad).
También está en circulación la grabacón del concierto de Leeds del que parece que han prensado una tirada corta que están vendiendo junto al merchandising del concierto y que hasta donde he podido escuchar ofrece una calidad altísima. Esta no es tan buena pero es muy disfrutable.
